Vaccines We Offer and Why They’re Important

Varicella (Chickenpox) – Varivax / Varilrix

Protects against chickenpox, a highly contagious infection that can cause fever, rash, and complications in adults. Vaccination is recommended for those who haven’t had chickenpox and want reliable immunity.

Private Flu Vaccination (Seasonal Vaccination / when available)

Helps protect against influenza, which can cause severe illness, especially in older adults, pregnant women, and people with long‑term conditions. Annual vaccination reduces the risk of infection and complications.

Private COVID‑19 Booster Vaccination (Comirnaty, Spikevax, Nuvaxovid)

Boosters strengthen immunity against COVID‑19 and help maintain protection against severe disease, especially for those at higher risk or whose immunity has waned over time.

HPV – Gardasil 9

Protects against human papillomavirus, which can cause cervical, anal, and other cancers, as well as genital warts. Suitable for adults who missed vaccination during adolescence.

MMR Top‑Up – MMRVaxPRO

Provides protection against measles, mumps, and rubella. Recommended for adults who are unsure of their vaccination history or require additional doses for full immunity.

Meningitis B – Bexsero / Trumenba

Protects against meningococcal group B disease, a serious infection that can cause meningitis and sepsis. Recommended for young adults, travellers, and those at increased risk.

Pneumococcal – Pneumovax 23 / Prevenar 20

Protects against pneumococcal infections such as pneumonia, meningitis, and bloodstream infections. Recommended for older adults and those with chronic health conditions.

Shingles – Shingrix

Protects against shingles, a painful rash caused by reactivation of the chickenpox virus. Recommended for adults over 50 or those with weakened immunity to prevent long‑term nerve pain.
